This is to inform you that one of our shared servers- hits02.hostitsmart.com is being upgraded with better hardware in order to provide you with better performance and a more stable network.
Up-gradation Description: During this time, we will be migrating the data and sites to a new and powerful server with better hardware.
Up gradation Date: Saturday i.e.6 February, 2016.
Up-gradation Time: The migration will start on Saturday, 6 February, 2016 at 12:00 PM IST and will be completed by Saturday, 6th February 2016 till 11:00 PM IST.
Expectations from you: If you are using IP for FTP, Mail & Outlook, then please change it as follows:
69.4.93.139 to 45.34.121.168
Important: There will be no data loss in this period, but still we request you to take the backup at your end from your cPanel > Files > Backup Wizard.
Please don’t upload anything on server/website during the migration process.
If you are using name servers other than ns11.hostitsmart.com, ns12.hostitsmart.com, for your websites, then please make the following changes in your DNS file:
domain.com A 45.34.121.168
www.domain.com A 45.34.121.168
ftp.domain.com A 45.34.121.168
mail.domain.com A 45.34.121.168
If you are using hits02.hostitsmart.com name servers (ns11.hostitsmart.com, ns12.hostitsmart.com), then you don’t need to change anything.
Expected Downtime: As such, there will be no downtime for your website and email. But in case of any unexpected technical issues, it may take maximum 6 to 12 hours for the migration to complete.
Communication Plan: Our helpdesk will be fully functional and staffed during the migration. We will keep posting periodic updates in the announcements section and on hostitsmart.com to keep you fully informed of the status of migration process.We request not use our emergency contact numbers for knowing status of migration, as it will affect the migration process.
